Well done to all our ladies this week who set the standard for others to follow.
Our U13 girls set the pace last Friday evening with a great win over Rathcoffey.
The U8/U9 girls followed up on Saturday morning with a terrific performance in their league match against Kildangan.
U11 girls had two great games last week, on Thursday and Saturday, against Eadstown and Johnstownbridge no bother to them.
Last night our U15 girls had a massive win over Moorefield, congratulations to everyone involved, players and coaches alike.
The U6s world tour was a great success, playing in front of great crowds in both Monasterevan and Ballymore. For anyone who has seen the photos on Facebook, as well as some great young lads, there are definitely some young ladies there with an attitude that will see them go a long way which is great for the future of the club. All look like they are having a ball, thanks again to all coaches involved. On tour again Saturday 24th.
U16 boys did well this week too, Oliver Plunketts, had a great win over Lexilip.
Wednesday evening saw the newly formed Southern Gaels U18 hurling team play against Broadford. Southern Gaels is an amalgamation of Two Mile House, Laurences and Ardclough giving these young men an opportunity to play when numbers don't allow in the respective clubs. Great to keep them engaged.
Tomorrow is a busy day at the pitch. Two U7 teams will take on both Athgarvan and Castledermot, while the U9-11 will go out against Eadstown just before our Senior Ladies take to the pitch against old foes Castlemitchell.
A large contingent of St Laurences will be in Two Mile House to play against the U7, U8,U10s in hurling on Sunday morning.
Ladies in the spotlight again on Monday evening with the U9s and U11s out against Balyna and Kill respectively.
Our U8 footballers will be out against Grange on Tuesday evening.
At Hawkfield on Sunday, our Senior Men will battle it out with Nurney. Hopefully they can take some inspiration from our ladies success this week. At last concessions are back, so all OAPS and Students can attend at a reduced cost, €6 each. Click on the link below, for your tickets, if you are lucky enough to be in either of categories:

The more support the better!
Congratulations to Andrew McGovern on his €100 win in the Club draw. The next draw takes place next Friday, 24th September. Other winners this week were Jon Downey and Tom Minnock with their big €25 lucky dip prize, congratulations gentlemen.
Ladies to the fore once more as Deborah took over the reigns at the Lotto drum last Monday evening but had no luck giving away the big prize which now stands at €4900. Who knows, this might be the week but if you are not in you can't win, as someone once said! To get involved all you need to do is click on the link below, on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or play on Clubzap, and you can watch the action live on Facebook at 8pm this Monday, and every Monday.
