What will be, will be!
Unforturnately it was not to be for our Senior Ladies in last week's County Final, or for the U16s in their football and hurling finals recently but they should be very proud of their achievements and hopefully they will come back stronger next year, albeit in a different age group for some.
The good news is that our U15 girls will play their final in Hawkfield on Monday, October 25th, at 1.30pm. Pay at the gate, with U16s free, to support these wonderful young women and their management. We wish everyone involved the very best of luck.
Staying with the ladies, our U13 and U9 teams are both in action at home tomorrow morning against Clane and Round Towers respectively.
Congratulations to the Oliver Plunketts Minor team who secured a place in the Semi final after a great game of football in Kilcullen last night. With no rest for the wicked😂, these young men go on to play Kilcullen on Monday, October 25th. Best of luck lads.

Sunday morning sees the first ever outing for the U23 team, when they play a challenge match against Eadestown at home. It was decided to run a competition at U23 level to accommodate some players that may have missed out on U21s after competitions were cancelled due to Covid. Matches will be held over November and promise to brighten up some dark dull evenings.
Juvenile training finishes up this evening, no doubt fun and games will be had by all as both players and coaches take a well earned rest for the winter months. Thanks again to everyone involved.
As the evenings draw in, attention tends to focus on the festive season🎄 and orders from the club shop need to be in by this evening, Friday Oct 22, to secure delivery on time. Order online at
Today is also the last day for submitting nominations to the Executive Committee and motions for the AGM being held on November 12th at 7pm in the club house. Have your say and get involved in the club in whatever way suits you.
