After almost two full years of social restrictions, we are now entering a post pandemic era.  What that holds for any of us, no one knows but we have gotten this far and we can go further.  Club life is emerging from the doldrums with the start of all the paperwork, without the paper,  so that teams have games, games have players and everyone has fun.  The end of the water break feels like the old norm is within reach, now all we need are the members!!  Membership is open and can be paid through Clubzap or online.

Of course, no one heads straight on to a pitch without doing some training so every Tuesday and Thursday evening the lights are on for members to get out, exercise with their friends or family and perhaps get fit enough to take part in the Two Mile House Fun Run on the 26th February. For those of you who will miss them, you can have as many water breaks as you like on either the 5k or 10K. Sign up now by clicking on the link here or on Social media

Our gym has just gotten an upgrade of equipment and is already being put to good use by some of our Senior players.

NFTs are all the rage now and if you feel like you want to invest in something you can never actually have then why not use some of that cryptocurrency in the back of the drawer to get yourself an online image of anything from John Lennon's guitar to Melania's white hat but you will have to wait a bit longer if you want to purchase a NFT of Joe on Facebook Live doing the Lotto draw.  We may well be sitting on a hidden asset there but we are not equipped to accept bitcoin yet!  In the meantime, you can click on the link below and spend some of your regular coin on the Lotto which we are fully equipped to take. This link is also on Facebook, Twitter, Clubzap and the website. The jackpot is now at a whopping €6600, well worth a go.  Lauren Breen, a member of our Senior Ladies team, was on hand last Monday evening to help Joe with the draw.  Ed Cahill and Rita Keane both won €25 in the luck dip draw. Congratulations! Joe will be back on Monday at 8pm and who knows what surprise he may have in store.

The very best of luck to Cassie Mallon as she dons the Kildare jersey tomorrow for the U14s trial match in Edenderry.
