Dear Saint of our Isle has certainly bestowed a sweet smile on us this beautiful day. How blessed we have been to be able once again celebrate our patron Saint in such glorious weather. With the potatoes sown and the roses pruned we can begin to look forward to the start of the football and hurling season in earnest. We have been struggling up until now getting matches played but with pitches drying up and the days about to get longer, fingers crossed we will back on track.

Our U15 Hurlers are due to play tomorrow (Saturday) against Round Towers with U17, Oliver Plunketts, and U13 footballers both out on Sunday against St Nicholas and Rheban respectively.
Our very own Saint Joe turns up week after week on Facebook live doing his best to bestow a small fortune on some lucky punter. Whether or not you are enjoying a winning streak at Cheltenham, the odds are much better with the Two Mile House Lotto. The jackpot is now €7300 and well worth a punt. Margaret Kennedy and Sarah Caffery both took a chance last week but fell at the last hurdle in not winning the jackpot but coming away uninjured with a €25 luck dip win. Congratulations ladies.
