An extra hour of daylight from Sunday on and who wouldn't want it to enjoy this wonderful weather? It will make a big difference when it comes to training and matches and we need all the extra time we can get as fixtures begin to mount up. Over the past few weeks, bad weather combined with player availability have resulted in a lot of games being rescheduled.
Alongside that, our juvenile players are warming up, ready to take to the pitch this weekend, with the U9 hurlers taking on Sarsfields and the u10 hurlers away to Celbridge. Our U8 footballers are travelling to St Laurences for their first match of the season.
The U15 ladies will be up early tomorrow morning for their game against Raheens while the U13 girls will make the most of the longer evenings taking on Castlemitchell at home on Thursday at 7pm.
Cassie Mallon will be doing us proud once again playing for Kildare in the U14 Division 2 League final on Saturday afternoon. The very best of luck Cassie, your club is behind you all the way!
In the meantime, U20s, U17s, U15s are all trying to keep up with fixtures and matches that have had to be changed.
There will be no extra time if our Senior Men are all square with Maynooth at the end of 60 minutes play tomorrow, 5pm, in the opening league match.
You don't need to be a semaphore expert to take on the role of umpire or linesman. In fact, you don't even need to bring your own flags, we will supply them, but we do need enthusiastic members to take on these very important roles for home matches. Training will be given but good eyesight is essential, just make yourself known to any member of the committee. We are also in urgent need of members to help out with general upkeep and maintenance at the club. This is Dave's final week keeping everything ship shape, he will be greatly missed around the club but we hope he enjoys his retirement.
Membership is now open and can be paid using the link below or on Clubzap and online at twomilehousegaa.ie.

No need for extra time on Facebook live on Monday evenings, the lotto draw is over in a jiffy. Joe was joined by Michael Burke this week. Michael is a selector for the Senior men's team, here's hoping he picks his players better than his numbers!😉😂 Once again, we had no jackpot winner and so the grand prize now stands at €7400. John Valentine and Billy O'Sullivan were the Lucky Dip winners of €25 each, congratulations gentlemen. No need for flags to spell out exactly how to play: click on the link below or on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Clubzap or online.
