.... to make a change! Last week's newsletter appears to have caused some confusion. I know it's not easy to be calm when you found something going on but take your time, think a lot. How can I try to explain? Well, it was an April Fool's, there is no rebranding of the club colours and, for the moment, Two Mile House GAA will continue as a football club albeit with a vibrant Hurling section. So just relax, take it easy, there's so much you have to know.
So for your information:
Our juvenile section is back in action with training for U6s to U11s on Friday evenings for football, Thursday evenings for hurling from U6s to U10s and Monday evenings for girls U8 to U11.
Also on Mondays we have U12/U13/ U14 and U15 girls and the U15 boys training on pitches while the Senior Men are in the gym.
Tuesday evening we have U12/U13 boys and our Senior Ladies training.
Wednesday evening brings the big boys out on to the pitch with the Senior Men, U20s and U17 hurlers training.
Thursday evening also sees the U17 boys football training.
Fixtures this week include:
At home:
Sat April 9th we start the day with U15 girls play Suncroft
U9s take on Ellistown
U10 boys are out against Maynooth early afternoon before our Senior Men take on Clogherinkoe. Very busy day at home!
Thursday 14th U15 girls take on Sallins.
Away:
Sunday 10th U9 hurlers go to St Laurences
U13 South Kildare hurlers play in Athgarvan against Sallins at 10:30
U15 Hurling in Celbridge at 18:00
Tuesday 12th The U11s go to Monasterevin for 7pm
U12 girls are playing on Tuesday but I have yet to receive confirmation
Wednesday 13th U17s, Oliver Plunketts are in Castlemitchell at 7.30pm
All fixtures are subject to change, like the U8s who got ahead of the fixtures to play their match last night against Monasterevin wasting no time in getting stuck in. A lot of hard pulling helped the U10 hurlers get the better of Western Gaels in Blessington last night. Spare a thought for the U15 team, parents and management, who travelled to Ballykelly to fulfil a fixture but unfortunately the opposition just didn't turn up. Another group of players and management that deserve credit are the U17 ladies who braved atrocious weather conditions to get the better of Carbury last Friday. Well done ladies.
There will be a second hand boot sale in the Clubhouse during juvenile training this evening, all donations welcome.

Joe will be at home, on Facebook live, to draw the winning numbers for the Lotto on Monday evening. €7600 is up for grabs this week along with 2 luck dip €25 prizes. Both Paul Clarke and Sheila Cordonnier were last week's luck dip winners. Congratulations folks, that should buy a nice Easter Egg for someone special! it's not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy
you're still young, that's your fault
He obviously never joined a GAA club
