but I am sure you will all agree, it is worth the wait. We have had some thunder rolls, even lightning strikes and temperatures more normal to Baton Rouge but now we are getting ready for the return of the Dance! Yes folks the Two Mile House Dinner dance returns this October 8th where we may very well party 'til the sun comes up. There will be no Pina Coladas but should have long neck bottles, it won't be a black tie affair and you can show up in boots, just not football ones, but you can't say you were the last one to know. Tickets are on sale now through Clubzap, click the link below, but if you want to bring your friends from low places then you can contact our very hard working PRO, Deborah, on Pro.twomilehouse.kildare@gaa.ie and she will book a table for 10 at a special price. Seven o clock on Saturday evening, eight til two is dinner and dancing but for some they ain't going down til the sun comes up!!

A very big thank you to everyone that took part in the Two Mile House Annual Golf Classic and to a special word of thanks to our very many sponsors that made the day possible. We had a hard working team behind the scenes pulling it all together, including Des, John, Joe, Padraig, Paul, Declan not to forget Paddy, of course, who has been taking charge of the Classic for 20 years now and despite what he says, he is much too young to feel that damn old!!
The first of the four Kildare Club draws took place on Friday evening, unfortunately there may have been some unanswered prayers in Two Mile House as we had no winners but there is time yet as we have three more to go. Once again we would like to thank all of those who supported our club by purchasing tickets for this fundraiser.
Back in the game over the last few weeks, our juvenile teams have been out doing the club proud in both football and hurling. Senior Men Reserves, Minors and Senior Ladies are all doing well and everyone is looking forward to the much improved facilities now that work has finally commenced on the top pitch. Last week's storm did some damage at the pitch knocking the ball saver net at the car park end of the pitch so it would be advisable to watch where you park for a while, cars are parked at the owner's risk!!
Not sure Joe can ever claim to have sold out his show but he continues to sail his vessel and follow where it goes every Monday at 8pm on Facebook Live. Never knowing what's in store, he will stay the course until he reaches his destination and gives away a massive jackpot. Currently standing at €9700, the jackpot can be won by playing the lotto on Clubzap, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or just click the link below:
